Guild Master,

First and foremost, I apologize for not replying to you sooner. Things have been nothing short of chaotic here at the College and only now have I found the time to sit and write. I admit I am intrigued by your letter. To make a long story short, the College did find an object of a peculiar nature at Saarthal, however, the object in question has since been... quarantined. However, what you may not be aware of is that the College has already disrupted one Thalmor plot. I suspect the Aldmeri Dominion wished to have one of their own ascend to the position I currently hold and that they sought to see the College of Winterhold and all the knowledge contained within to be handed over to the Aldmeri Dominion. I can assure you that will not be happening.

As such, I would be more than happy to forge such an agreement with your guild. Besides, Enthir has been quite the help. The College and its services are hereby at your disposal.
